There are so many aspects of her comments where she put words in Trump’s mouth that he never said, such as:
“offered to place our military, my brothers and sisters in uniform, under the command [sic] of Prince Mohammed bin Salman”
Offering an ally support is not offering to place our forces under their command.
“but your offering our military assets to the dictator of Saudi Arabia to use as he sees fit”
Again, Trump made no such offer. Trump made no mention of any specific forces he might consider aiding Saudi Arabia with.
“and it once again shows that you are unfit to serve as our commander in chief”
The above two massive errors in Ms Gabbard’s lack of understanding of what Trump did and not say, show SHE is totally unfit to serve as our commander in chief.
The American public has been fed, by the media, the mistaken and dangerous idea that some military experience makes someone an expert on military policy (John McPain ???). Ms Gabbard is COUNTING ON the continued public ignorance in that regard.

Well, I agree with her in principle. Unless the attack on KSA is well within our national security and national interests ( how so, if we are now energy independent?), then I can see the US being involved in some action, diplomatic, covert, etc even outright use of military power.
I just don’t see us needing to so do at this point. KSA has assets, let them run with it. We can help with intel, C3I etc. But it is an attack on KSA, not the US.
Regarding her speech in criticism of the POTUS/CiC, well, she is an elected official as well as member of the military, so she has a dual function, if in capacity of elected official, then fine, if in capacity as a member of the military, then uh uh. Splitting the difference is the issue.
Trump just stated we have few ships in the Gulf, so what is the risk to us or our interests at this point? not too much I think.
