So you were only 19 and very weak.
Bad guys could capture you in a house
because you didn’t know how doors or windows worked.
I listened to some of this and the guy has a British or Australian accent and appears to be slooooowwwwwwwly talking (singing) about a possible Vietnam experience.
I couldn’t handle listening to it to determine if it had a patriotic or a leftward tilt. It was poorly done.
LOL
Very touching song/poem...
So, really... why the deception?
Did you do something criminal or perverted?
If so, go ahead and admit it.
How about at least a one sentence summary of the contents of the video. If you can’t be bothered to do that, why should anyone else bother clicking on the youtube link?
Redgum were an Australian folk and political music group formed in Adelaide in 1975 by singer-songwriter John Schumann, Michael Atkinson on guitars/vocals, Verity Truman on flute/vocals; they were later joined by Hugh McDonald on fiddle and Chris Timms on violin.
Good grief what on God’s green earth is wrong with you?
That was a profound and beautiful LAMENT about one Aussie soldier’s Viet Nam experience.
Your utter lack of compassion for anyone or anything makes me wonder if you even HAVE a soul...
See my # 10
What's that all about? I didn't see any of that in the youtube.
Maybe you have to actually watch the youtube and read the lyrics to appreciate the song. I think it's a damn good song/poem about the Aussie contribution in Vietnam.
reminds me of a friend who finally succumb to voices in his head 12 years ago and committed suicide.
I knew that he done some stuff in Vietnam but, when I opened his locker, which was in his closet, to inventory for his father, I trembled as I was a looking at all these medals and ribbons with citations, letters and certificates that also included the names of other men who also received them.
His father wanted me to have them but, I did not feel comfortable and bade him to take them home with him, which he did.
Sad Song
At least I wasn’t trying to sell my blog.
Actually, I posted in error.
I had seen a fake video about "human trafficking" earlier in the
day with a very similar title and I assumed it was the same one.
My bad.
it’s cool.
