We need a law against shooting innocent people in grocery stores.

Yes lady, that will help, since CRIMINALS do obey gun free zones. We are sorry about your loss, however, a CRIMINAL will never obey laws. It would be more killings in Kroger’s!

The article makes it sound as if people with guns wouldn't enter Kroger's if they disallowed guns on the premises.

Criminals and the mental unstable do not care about gun free zones.

I mean the law that says it's illegal to rob a bank doesn't stop bank robbers.

Not supposed to speed on the freeway? People do it all the time.

You're not going to stop random violence by making random violence illegal.

A lawsuit is a terrible way to grieve.

How long till somebody brings a lawsuit for stores that don't allow guns,
thus making the store responsible for failing to provide for their customer's safety.

Back some 33 years ago, I lived in Louisville. Stopped a Kroger to pick up something my wife needed (stuff I shouldn’t have to get). I walked in during an armed robbery. First I saw the bag boy on the floor where they bag and thought he must have dropped something. Going to get said items, I returned to the checkouts and there were no cashiers. Looking around and muttering, I then noticed a guy with a ski mask on by the office. It was summer and I thought Who is this clown with a ski mask on. (yeah, I can be slow sometimes). That’s when I saw the gun, as I quickly retreated out of the line of potential gunfire. They left and the cops finally showed up. Too bad no one was carrying that night.

And that’s exactly why I carry even if “only going to Walmart”....actually, my holster and weapon are part of my morning getting dressed ritual...
