Democrats go to the movies twice as much as Republicans, a new study finds.
The statistic was among many tidbits included in a seven-year survey celebrating the 1,000th movie surveyed by industry leader PostTrak, the exit-polling service founded by Rentrak (now owned by Comscore) and Screen Engine.
During that time period, Democrats frequented the movies far more than Republicans, or 12.4 percent versus 5.5 percent. Ditto for Independents (7.2 percent). The same also held true for ticket buyers who identified themselves as liberal and conservative (10.1 percent vs. 5 percent). Nearly 10 percent of moviegoers didn't state their political affiliation.
The PostTrak survey — touching on everything from streaming preferences to demo breakdowns to religious affiliation — includes information drawn from 1.25 million interviews.

Movies and Concerts are analogous to churches as far as the Left is concerned.
That would explain why "Avatar" and the "Transformers" movies made so much money...

Same with me, as the last time I bothered going to a theatre was to see “They Shall Not Grow Old”. The last time before that was “The King’s Speech”.
Leftists live in a fantasy world. They also work less and have more spare time.
I can’t remember the last time I saw a movie in a theater. I really can’t.

All the movies are social justice propaganda laced. All the stuff d’s love, all the stuff I despise. I don’t pay money to be disrespected, I go to be entertained. It’s been a very long time since I went to a movie theater...I’ll probably never walk inside one ever again.
I could have told anybody that asked that more Democraps go to movies....they live in a fantasy World.
For me, going to the movies is inconvenient and a waste of precious time.

I have been to the movies exactly TWICE in the past 5 years, both times to see Christian films.
I have no interest in shelling out money to see some superhero tell me that I’m a racist sexist bigoted Nazi homophobe.
Seems that’s the intent. I can’t imagine being a theater operator with that destructive crowd.
Endgame spoiler alert!
I’m a conservative and I love movies... at least I used to love them. Anymore they’re propaganda pieces pushing the social justice story in ways that leaves me ticked off most of the time. Endgame nearly undid it’s entire experience with that force, speed-bump of a scene where all of the women heroes banded together to try to defeat Thanos. I almost got up and walked out at that point and would have if they were the ones who defeated him.
There’s your proof that Repubicans are racist.
