Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz said on Thursday he would back former Vice President Joe Biden over President Trump if the two were facing off in the general election next year.
During an interview on SiriusXM, Dershowitz told "The Dan Abrams Show" that when it comes to his vote in 2020, he will evaluate the "totality" of Trump's record in office and how a Democratic nominee like Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-VT, would "present a real dilemma" for him.

Dershowitz is a brilliant legal mind with a strong sense of ethics to assure the rule of law is NOT manipulated or corrupted for political purposes.
As a voter, he has always been a Democrat.....His brilliance doesn’t translate to political position.....
Yes but he has that right. He comes from a period of time where you don’t hate your political enemies you try to convince them.
I will always be grateful to him for standing up for President Trump when it mattered. He faced being shunned by his friends and family and still he stood for what is right.
President Trump will be re-elected and history will look back on this period in our country in utter shock.
Dersh disgusted me when I read that he was responsible for discrediting the young girls of Little St. James. It made me believe that he has something to hide and the dems are well aware of it. He visited Little St. James and represented Jeffrey Epstein - he’s compromised.
I recommend sticking to reading just his legal analysis. He is usually spot on. He has appeared to support Trump because the legal case against Trump is/was ridiculous, and Dershowitz is a pretty honest (and very smart) legal commentator when he’s not representing a client. He actually does care about the law. His only other support for Trump is contingent on Trumps willingness to support Israel. Biden would not roll back anything Trump has done in support of Israel, and Biden would advance the Leftist social agenda. Not a surprise the Dershowitz would take this position.
