Earlier today on CNN, they had sort of a quasi-town hall with Nancy Pelosi and one of the CNN info guys, Manu Raju, Raju Manu, Mamu Dabango, something like that. The guy was begging her, again, begging her to impeach. And she dropped the hammer.
She made it more clear today than she has at any time that there isn’t gonna be any impeachment.
BREAK TRANSCRIPT
RUSH: And I think evidence of it not being good is Pelosi today. I mean, they are disappointed at CNN. The long faces after this. And Pelosi was snarky to this little guy on CNN. This little guy was trying to grovel and suck up and treat her like she was a goddess, almost afraid to be in her presence, almost afraid to even ask her any questions at all. And whatever question he asked her, she acted like, “Who are you? What right do you have to be here in my presence?”
She snarked every answer. She accused him (imitating Pelosi), “We weren’t gonna discuss this. I’m not gonna, who said — this was nothing about policy today.” And the guy backs off, “Oh, I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean it.” Just amazing to watch. Then they cut back to the CNN crew in the studio and they’re just long faces and sad disappointment, the realization that Pelosi’s not going to pull the trigger on this.

The simple answer is impeachment opens the left up to discovery by Trump lawyers. Why isn’t this discussed.
Nervous Nancy was unhappy because they asked her a hard question when there was no “handler” to tell her what the approved talking points were.
It’s a kind of circles of hell thing. It now becomes a matter of, will the Dems throw out Pelosi because she won’t go along?
Shocking that the John Dean trick didn’t rally the country to impeachment’s side. One of the biggest duds the Dems of dreamed up yet.

Maybe the Republicans should push it for a vote. How would that play out? Good or bad strategy?
My understanding is Nadler is going to hold a seance of Mussolini and Hitler as more evidence orange man bad.

She is losing it physically and maybe mentally, but her political instincts are still sharp. Like an old dog who can’t walk very well but still has a nose for the game.

Progressives seize on “impeach” as though that’s enough, like the legal details have already been written up and process merely need commencing.
So many seem unable to grasp: there’s no articulable legal reason to impeach.
Moreso, they don’t grasp the consequences. For a group lamenting the breakdown of democracy, they seem oblivious to the fact they’re the ones breaking it by not accepting the outcome of a democratic* election - and breaking down democracy only leads to anarchy or tyranny, which oddly they think they’ll (as individuals) be the lead of.
(* - yes, I know we’re a republic. It’s based on local/state democratic votes, aggregated into a democracy of states.)

It’s the lamest excuse for a “serious” situation I’ve ever seen. If we trotted out this cast of characters, we would be charged with stereotyping, insensitive actions, profiling, and bigotry.
Look at them! NADLER..SCHI++..CONYERS..PELOSI..WATERS..WARREN, OAC..the list is ENDLESS, REALLY. And we are NOT responsible for their cast of characters. Oh, and I would be remiss if I didn’t mention their special guest appearance by...John..DEAN.. BWHAHAHA!
The only thing worse is Carrot Top being named their opening speaker at the Convention
