NASA says it will spend more than $250 million hiring private companies to transport scientific missions to the moon. These privately operated missions, part of the US space agencys broader rush back to the moon, are designed to gather data about the lunar surface and pilot technologies for landing robotic explorers.
Three companiesAstrobotic, Intuitive Machines, and Orbit Beyondhave been awarded contracts for missions into 2021. Orbit Beyond has the earliest target date for its mission, in September 2020.

Yes, it is. But if I have to choose, it is where is the company. Where do the profits go, and who designs it. More important than who turns a bolt, big deal, anyone can do that. When we lose our brain power, and money, then we are in big trouble. Id rather not my 90% of my money go to MITI, ultimately supporting some other government.
