By money and power. Not by God.

he called flying commercial getting in 'a long tube with demons' The 82-year-old claims he wasn't talking about the people on planes

BS. This greedy bastard, like so many others, has become enamored with money. There's nothing "evangelical" about him.

I didn't realize he'd taken a vow of poverty.
Last year purchased a $3million Gulfstream V private jet from actor Tyler Perry
THAT was a DEAL, if that's really what he paid.

[[Speaking about passages in the Old Testament regarding the wealth of Abraham, he says he ‘gets excited talk about it because I love it’.]]

The man’s god appears to be money

[[Copeland called flying commercial to be similar to getting in ‘a long tube with a bunch of demons’,]]

Clearly unhinged-

[[ ‘Do you think that’s a good environment for a preacher to be?’]]

Yes actually- Even if there might be, purely by chance, someone oboard who actually is demon possessed- Jesus didn’t avoid the demon possessed-, and He was friend to sinners- He didn’t isolate Himself from them by using the excuse that He ‘had to preach later’

I wonder if He’s mentally ill- He certainly has a snap temper- and spouts off at the mouth before thinking about his responses- Something that the bible cautions against- People living in submission to God don’t snap so easily- if ever- They are filled with love for God- He seems filled with love for money and gets angry when people call him out on it

Why can’t he own 10 jets? His parishioners put up with it. They pay him.

Who cares?

I remember when Jim and Tammy Faye got into trouble for something like a misplaced $45,000 - petty cash at Heritage USA.

I’m a Jew but I’m pretty sure Inside Edition isn’t hitting up leftist Billionaires asking them to account for their use of stockholders’ money.

from the 80's, specifically targeting Jim and Tammy-Faye, it was a great song and still speaks volumes regarding this huckster.

1 Cor 4: 8 Already you have all you want! Already you have become rich! Without us you have become kings! And would that you did reign, so that we might share the rule with you! 9 For I think that God has exhibited us apostles as last of all, like men sentenced to death, because we have become a spectacle to the world, to angels, and to men. 10 We are fools for Christ’s sake, but you are wise in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong. You are held in honor, but we in disrepute. 11 To the present hour we hunger and thirst, we are poorly dressed and buffeted and homeless, 12 and we labor, working with our own hands. When reviled, we bless; when persecuted, we endure; 13 when slandered, we entreat. We have become, and are still, like the scum of the world, the refuse of all things.

When I look at the wealth of the Vatican, I know it is not anything Jesus commissioned. Same when I look at a preacher with 760 million net worth and 3 jets.

This prosperity gospel is nothing we saw in Jesus example.
