On April 24, 2019, the 104th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, the world community will honor the more than 2.2 million Armenians tortured and massacred starting with the 1894-96 Hamidian Massacres of Ottoman Turkeys Christian population, mostly Armenians, Greeks & Assyrians and ending over 25 years later; some say it has not yet ended. The portion of the genocide beginning on April 24, 1915, is now commemorated annually by the worlds citizenry. Why April 24? That was the day that the Armenian intellectuals in the nation were murdered by the Ottomans. Without cause, most were hanged in public squares of major population centers such as Istanbul (Constantinople).
Next able-bodied Armenian men were conscripted into Turkeys military service. Once rounded up where they could be managed, the men were killed. The Armenian male population became an ineffectual entity; the Ottoman Turks deported the remaining Armenian citizenry, consisting of mostly women, children and the aged. Forced on death marches toward the Syrian desert, most perished by starvation, dehydration, torture and murder. Those Armenians who reached the Der Zor Desert of Ottoman-controlled Syria were put in concentration camps and systematically murdered while originally thinking they would survive. Torture was always accompanied by murder. Criminals were released from jails if they would assist in the crimes. After all they were criminals and were eager for their freedom.

Thank you for posting this.
Would that be the Ottoman Amish?
Millions of Armenians, and hundreds of thousands of Assyrian Christians and Greeks. It was genocide against Christians. The Turks (1) deny it happened and (2) say they deserved it.
A friend of mine is Armenian Christian. His family fled from Armenia to Lebanon about 1900 and when Lebanon became mostly Muslim they emigrated to Massachusetts about 1950.
The Boston Bomber tried to hide in his back yard under his boat and my friend called the cops because his kids said a man was hiding under the boat.
Karma, an Armenian fingered the muslim.
Turkey is in NATO. Let that sink in. Genocide is always waiting to make an appearance. The West is dead.
So was most of Germany.
And today a lot of Turks live in Germany.
I still remember the leader of East Germany warning West Germany country that they would be invaded by Turks, if the Wall came down. Didn’t think much of it, until a few years ago, that is.
The silver lining of the Iron Curtain is that the countries behind it were spared from the Muslim invasion.
Some things don’t seem to change.
Erdagon is of the same genocidal stripe of past Turkish leaders.
Turkey should be expelled from NATO pronto. Kemal Ataturk’s secular state is history. Hagia Sophia will soon be a mosque again.
What? NATO should be abolished..It’s an UN organization...
I thought the Hagia Sophia has been under Muslim Control for centuries now???
