Steven Crowder reports his channel has gotten 3 strikes and is now in danger of disappearing from YouTube.

I was just listening to his podcast this morning. What are these people pissed about?
I’m glad he pimped his stuff here. He has since gone on to become a big success. He would have made it without Free Republic , it just helped jump start his career.

So what? He’s so influenced tens of thousands of younger people to go conservative.
A lot more than some fat old crank trading blah with other fat old cranks.
I think now they’re coming at Crowder from a different angle, putatively less political but probably the same thing, “No Conservatives Allowed”.
I don’t like him nearly as much as Owen Benjamin, who by some miracle is still on YouTube but has been de-platformed by every payment method under the sun:
Benjamin’s fans literally write out pieces of paper called CHECKS and mail them to him via trucks allegedly driven by uniformed federal employees —he gets a ton of them.

But Crowder is still out there, and he’s not liberal, so that’s something and I was still surprised.
I heard that YouTube will soon be suing ANYONE who has without authorization ever used more than 1 SECOND of material from another creator.
I heard they’ll be spending $3 billion to do that, so that’s really a LOAD of people.

I heard this from Steven Crowder’s own channel, from his mouth, about 1 hour ago, Sat. 10 am PST.
Oh my.
I liked him before he went NeverTrumper. Stoped watching him, after that.
Didn’t even know he was still around.
Then let Crowder use an alternate to YouTube.
This is the only way to stop the censorship. You hit them in the wallet.
You know that Crowder format where he goes to universities, sits at a table on the student quad with a big sign,
“Widespread gun ownership makes us SAFER —change my mind”
You know, and he gets liberal kids sitting down at his table, spewing the standard lefty platitudes until they start sputtering, yelling, and repeatedly telling him the current year..?
Well, Crowder claims in his video that that ENTIRE SERIES of his was removed for terms of service violations.
As a fat old crank, I resent that remark.

IF that is true- criminy what a racket- get millions of people to sign up- knowing millions will likely use content that isn’t theirs at some point- and then sue the crap out of these millions of people- instant wealth-
But seriously, IF they did this- it would be the end of youtube- people would leave it in droves-
You can bet enforcement will be selective.
