Internet weather radar

Posted on 04/07/2019 10:58:38 AM PDT by Dacula

I used to be a fan of Intellicast and their weather radar, however they have been bought out by Weather Undground and have completely ruined two good sites.

Does anyone a suggestion for a good weather radar to use on a PC? I use My Radar app for my phone, but they are not PC based.

Thank you in advance.

The culprit is Weather.com, which bought WeatherUnderground and is ruining everything they touch.

I agree, Intellicast was great, used it daily. Still trying to get use to wunderground. I miss the good ol’ days.

I used Intellicast.com for years, but, recently their programmers got bored and completely redesigned the site, making it almost unusable, so now I’m using weatherstreet.com (which isn’t much better but at least I can find what I’m looking for.

Try COSPA. It's an MIT maintained site with high res CONUS radar and other layers.

You have to request an account.

Lots of people here who are simply UNCOMFORTABLE with progress.

Having said that, to prove I’m not of that generation, yes, WU simply SUCKS and me included, have lost my favorite sites to their sick website.
