Menacing-looking vultures are taking over a town in South Jersey and residents want them to buzz off. Hordes of vultures have been hanging around in Mount Holly. Residents want them gone but not everybody feels that way as environmentalists say the vultures are an important part of the ecosystem.

They look like turkey vultures. I climbed Big Roundtop at Gettysburg one winter, and found a large number of turkey vultures roosting there. Wasn’t expecting any company as the park was basically empty.

Are there no shotguns left in NJ? Yes, but if you are caught with one outside your home, and not going directly to a shooting range (with your paperwork and Firearms ID license), the state will arrest you, prosecute you, and put you away for years - ruining your life.
