Those apples fell straight down from that tree, didn’t they? (Probably a tree with only one branch, at that.)
Another Vietnam Vet gets the needle.
Been a few of those lately...
Hadn’t thought of that. I assumed they were the killer’s offspring. If not, I rescind my remark.
Eccl 8:11Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.
Spent more time than I cared to looking elswhere for info about this case, but it was less than 20 minutes. I would be so embarrassed to attach my name to such shoddy work as this so-called report.
My research partially answered my questions:
The two males who caused a ruckus at the execution were the killer’s son and his grandson. From what I could gather, I am assuming the son was the product of a marriage prior to Coble’s marriage to the woman whose parents he murdered.
The 4 children who were tied up were the 3 daughters of the estranged wife along with their cousin, the son of this woman’s brother. Coble left those kids bound at the woman’s house as he set off to murder the woman’s brother and her parents. The woman returned to her home to find Coble waiting for her. He abducted her, telling her that he had killed her brother and her parents so that they couldnt help her.
Yes, one of the males is the killer’s son. The other his grandson. See my #25.

Ha, I had forgotten about that scene.
So many good lines.
Boy that cleared things up a lot.
Maybe you should write for that site.
What a horrific story, even if 30 years old.
Speedy justice is as out of
fashion as Speedy Gonzales.
Well, bye.
Should have done it 25 years sooner. What a waste of time, a cell, all those meals and tax dollars.
My 8-year-old grandson could have written a better story than that woman did.
Yes, horrific. The killer was an evil character. And his descendents sound like real winners.
Yeah lol they’re peaches. :)
And I’m sure your grandson could have.
“When I watch Forensic Files and the case is in Texas or other death penalty friendly state and I hear the verdict death I do a big whoop.”
I say, “Big whoop,” myself, knowing that it’ll be decades before the scum quits wasting perfectly good air.
Naybe he was referring to the cost of the natural chemicals that make up the human body. Close enough for felon work.
Well, sometimes in the end credits they do say the guy got fried, then I smiles real big. :)
That’d be OK, then.
Too bad he wasn’t “eliminated” 30 years ago so as to save the taxpayers some $$$.
Public executions and timely executions were abolished for the same purpose, namely to prevent or forestall abolition. As our people become more ungodly, they show sympathy for the murderer during the public execution.
Because the people are hostile to any notion of God’s providence including the notion that He would govern the outcome of a trial, they need decades of delay to answer their horror that an innocent man might be executed.
Public hangings will result in the abolition of the death penalty here as it has already in other countries that share the anti-biblical philosophy of our people.
Speedy executions will result ultimately in the abolition of the death penalty as soon as the “innocence project” proves that an innocent man has been executed.
How can you come to agreement with people who believe that Dick Hickock and Perry Smith were murdered by the state of Kansas “In Cold Blood”.
Very fitting. Also from the same inspired book,
For the transgression of a land many are the princes thereof: but by a man of understanding and knowledge the state thereof shall be prolonged. (Proverbs 28:2)
Those who are not sufficiently controlled from within, by God and a sound conscience, must sooner or later be controlled from without, necessitating the growth of civil government. Robert Winthrop (May 12, 1809 November 16, 1894), and Speaker of the House from 1838 to 1840, and later president of the Massachusetts Bible Society, explained that,
All societies of men must be governed in some way or other. The less they may have of stringent State Government, the more they must have of individual self-government. The less they rely on public law or physical force, the more they must rely on private moral restraint. Men, in a word, must necessarily be controlled, either by a power within them, or by a power without them; either by the Word of God, or by the strong arm of man; either by the Bible, or by the bayonet. It may do for other countries and other governments to talk about the State supporting religion. Here, under our own free institutions, it is Religion which must support the State." (Speech to the Massachusetts Bible Society (1849-05-28), quoted in Robert Winthrop, Addresses and Speeches on Various Occasions, Little, Brown & Co., 1852, p. 172)
