Trump's speech on Venezuela was magnificent

President Trump's speech yesterday to a wildly enthusiastic crowd at Florida International University bears legitimate comparison to President Reagan's "Tear Down this Wall!" speech in Berlin. It may even change history, as Reagan's did.

With many Venezuelan immigrants, Cuban-Americans, and Nicaraguan-Americans in the audience, it was among his best public moments. He was introduced by First Lady Melania Trump, who made the point that she had escaped a communist tyranny and knows what it feels like to enjoy the freedom of the United States. Warm-up acts don't get any better than this.

Maybe the 2020 fight against the democratic socialists won’t be too difficult to win.

Reagan’s speech was covered by all the networks. Trumps was ignored. I listened on youtube and it was good. But it can’t change the world if the media refuses to let people know about it. Even the Gettysburg address would have been forgotten if the papers hadn’t printed it.

Yes it was and as it progresed I toggled between it and CNN/ MSNBC and they were sticking to the trash Trump narrative and since then they have not acknowledged any of it...

This speech was all good and fine but we also need to focus on “a peaceful transition of power” IN THIS COUNTRY.

When will we ever see a speech that exposes the attempts to subvert our own transition of power by domestic and foreign plotters? When will the FISA docs ever be declassified so WE AMERICANS can see how a cabal tried to SUBVERT OUR OWN REPUBLIC?

America First.

Too bad it has zero effect on most younger Americans. They are itching to find out the hard way about Socialism. That is all they know with limited education by the socialist run government schools.

They are itching to find out the hard way about Socialism.

These misguided youth ought to take a field trip to Venezuela and learn first-hand about all the incredible hardship and misery wrought by Socialism.

The speech was covered by Univision and Telemundo..both national and locals. Here in Florida Trump is very popular with the Hispanic community. They carried Florida for Trump and will again...that should PO the Putin Puffers and anti Hispanic scum floating around here.

MAGA BIGLY list ping!

Graduate & Professional degree ping!

FRiends, this speech was indeed magnificent and thrilling for anyone who loves freedom and hates tyranny! As you may read in the above comments, it was barely mentioned by the MSM; yet it is a powerful speech directed as much at the enemies of the United States as it was at the brutal dictatorship of Venezuela.

Carve aside a half-hour this weekend to savor these powerful words! As a bonus, enjoy Melania's bold introduction:
