The teachable moment is that the fake news hoax leftist Democrat media propaganda machine is very real.

Truth! That they all seeming spoke from the EXACT SAME TALKING POINTS from the get-go I think tells us all we need to know about the media-propaganda-leftist-democrat machine doesn't it?

Look at the Covington kids! They’re doing it right!
However its very special circumstances.

The power of the state is not trying to put them in jail for 20 years!

The “official establishment” narrative fall apart quickly.

Also the targets are relatively weak financially & very stupid compared to Duke. Duke as an institution!

They have a ruthless lawyer who is doing this “pro bono” or someone is picking up the tab.

The kids & the parents want their revenge and I say good for them!

I don’t think it was the Duke Lacrosse players or the lawyers to provide a teachable moment. I think they acted commendable under the conditions.

I’m just pointing out that there is no consequences for wrong doing on the left. If you have an example of when someone on the left has been held accountable I would like to see it.

There is no teachable moment in any of these fake left attacks.

These reporters and media figures may be sued but they will be bailed out by the deep pockets and forgiven. And they will go back right to what they were doing again.

These people should be losing their jobs and their lively hoods. Why are those 88 teachers at Duke still at their posts? Go read the letter that they wrote and signed their names. They shouldn’t be allowed to teach students ever again.

I don’t disagree about the consequences.

But there won’t be any unless its forced. In Duke’s case the institution could easily absorb the blow and promptly seep it under the rug and it did! That’s what I was pointing out. For a well-heeled college\university to do something, the plaintiff must be equally well-heeled, adept at PR, & determined. The Duke’s kids did have the resources nor the desire. The Duke trustees didn’t care or were scared of the “race card” that Jesse & others had played.

Regarding the “88”, I don’t remember any of the “88” being tenured (Maybe a few were!) The untenured should have been demised it and the tenured denied a promotion. But who is going to do that? College/university Presidents have a hard time just enforcing normal academic standards in the tenure process let alone something like this.

In that situation there was one held accountable - Nifong.
The DA that started the mess.

I’d like to hear what anyone thinks about this important event.

I think little Joosy has got his booty in a sling.

He spent one day in jail and then retired. Some consequence.

that part I didn’t know.
He did lose his law license, or was that temporary also?

Agree!

He should have been sued personally but acting as agent for the state probably protects one from that.

Again the Duke Lacrosse kids were there to fight for their lives & move on not launch a crusade. Maybe the Covington Kids can do it?
