I appreciate you are not trying to be a klljoy for the more adventurous of us.
One thing the moon as a lot of is H3. This could easily be mined and transported back to the earth or refined into fuel that is cheap and burned cleanly. It makes good rocket propellent or it could be used in reactors here on earth.
It is literally in the dust.
A lot of great things came from the actual space program.
There is so much potential out there.
But does industry need NASA?
The Chinese crewed mission will be in the 2030s, so NASA’s time table better not slip or there will be landing fees payable in Yuan Renminbi.

Thanks fieldmarshaldj. NASA's plan to line pockets while accomplishing nothing of substance, using Russian space hardware.
Trump said he’d have this done by the end of his administration (and many here believed him).
And of by the way, if NASA doesn’t get there until 2028, the Dutch probably will have got there two years before them.
