VETO The Spending Bill President Trump!
My Head ^ | 2/14/19 | OneVike

Posted on 02/14/2019 7:12:15 PM PST by OneVike

By the time many read this the bill before Trump to fund the government will have either been signed or vetoes.

I say VETO the spending bill President Trump. We either get the wall from a proper congressional spending bill or he should shut down the government.

Besides, why allow Congress to spend $4 trillion for 1 year. That is reason enough to veto the bill. Consider the thought of $24 trillion spent by 2024 if Trump gets re-elected in 2020.

Hell, at this rate the next President will spend over $10 trillion a year, then by 2034, they will be spending $20 trillion a year. When does this madness stop? President Trump, it is up to you to stop it NOW!

No wall, no spending bill.

It is time to reign in the out of control spending of those out of control congress critters. Especially since they will all blame Trump for the spending, not their own inability to stop spending.

Who cares?

Ocasio-Cortez wants to eliminate air travel in 10 years and everyone on the far-left is cheering that.

Great point. So much for needing the money to keep air travel going. The little Socialist will get her way.

Too funny

VETO the Bill Trump!

Why shouldn’t the Dems laugh? They put him in a corner and the popular options are lose lose for him and us.

I say do not sign and do not veto. Put the squeeze to the big guys by closing the border. The ramifications of that are huge and affect everyone, including the open border gang of traitors.

Use your imagination to think how quickly things would change.

Any one who wants to convince me that would not be legal or moral or would not work, please do so in order that I do not repeat this again.

Whose budget would you cut to get the 4 $Trillon savings?

DOD
Homeland Security
IRS
Congress Staff
White Hiuse Staff
Treasury
Commerce
Justice
Federal Courts
FCC
Or any other Federal Government Entity

Or the whole Federal Government.

I’m curious. You should be specific about who gets defunded.

This treasonous bill is being mocked on twitter and online .
Why even build a Wall .
Just rent a kid and stroll into the USA.
Its a drug cartel / child traffickers bill created by the Uniparty

And Trump plans to sign this ?

Is he planning to move out of the country soon ?

Huh? I never watch MSM news. On the shutdown Trump didn’t have the votes so Pelosi won and Trump lost. Simple as that. He was schlonged. But that’s history.

Pelosi won that skirmish. But we shall see if Trump wins the war when it comes to the wall. While the dems are all patting themselves on the backs Trump will quietly build sections of wall.

At this point he should veto the bill — not because of the wall — but because of the bloated spending. He can fund the wall himself. Screw Congress.

Let them sink. You want your children and grandchildren to be slaves? Not me. take the hit now, or they will pay for life.

When I hear those defending this kind of spending I hear fools yelling, "Spend, Spend, Spend today, for tomorrow may never come."

Truth be told, if Trump signs this bill, then by 2024, I expect the government to be spending over $10 trillion a year. Only God knows how much we will spend a year if a Democrat wins in 2020.

But Hell, we have a Republican who may sign this $4 trillion monstrosity for this. Does it matter what party is in if Trump caves on this?

Veto the bill and let them sink!

I have been here too frigging long to settle down,

WTF UP!

We fight now. This is the last line.

he signs this, it will not matter who the hell is in control after he is gone!

This is why many of us voted for him. For this exact reason! We knew all the others would sign a bill like this.

He is supposed to have the balls we want in this position!

Veto the damn bill Trump!

Where are the rulings from the SC that is has sided with him so far? They are non existent after 2 years.

President Trump won a big case in the Supreme Court just last summer. The court upheld the President's broad authority in all matters of immigration.

Trump has yet to even have a proper ruling from the SC on his ability to control the border.

But he has gotten a proper ruling. Look up Trump vs Hawaii.

“Am I reading this right? If PDJT signs this bill, DHS (border patrol) cannot stop anyone from entering... with or without a wall... if they are with a child?

Section 224(a) of the bill”

From what I’ve heard the DHS isn’t interpreting section 224 that way and will continue to enforce. Still, the special provisions in the national emergency act would nullify section 224 (a) in an emergency declaration, and that would remain in effect until the emergency is declared over. The military would take over apprehending and detaining the illegal invaders if needed, taking it out of the hands of the DHS.

If Trump signs this bill he will lose a lot of his base. Our legal immigration policy is even more destructive than illegal immigration. Building a wall isn’t going to fix the problem alone. Trump has to take a stand. He needs to force republicans to go on record one way or another. The establishment RINOs need to be challenged in future primaries, and forcing them to show their true beliefs will give us a better chance of being successful.

I’m looking for 4 $Trillion.

When you end government funding you eventually shut down everything. It would nice to pick and choose but that is not possible nor legal without Nancy Pelosi’s OK. Good luck with that.

Stick with Trump. Even with one hand tied behind his back he is far and away the best President we have had in both past and (with all probability) future decades.
