All this does is encourage people to dump their personal rage on a scapegoated woman. I thought that was something called
‘Toxic Masculinity’ these days. That’s what it really looks like.
Many cultures today still do this. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe Islam, still permits the husband to beat his wife a certain number of times per week.
Any facility that provides space for this perverse performance is helping to reverse the way people have been taught to respect all women. Slip-Sliding Away, back to primitive behavior.
