What Chinese Apartment Houses are Like

This article was written in response to a discussion that I had with a friend of mine. He made the statement, “You wouldn’t be able to believe how these (Chinese) people lived! You and I could never live like that!” Turns out that he saw some propaganda from the UK and was convinced that the Chinese lived in windowless hovels. Not so. Not by a long shot.

Over the last thirty years, China has experienced a period of enormous growth. It began in the 1990’s. It started when the progressive socialist policies of Mr. Mao were replaced with the Free-Market Conservative policies of Mr. Deng. The result was predictable and resulted in an explosion in the overall quality of life for all Chinese people. A period of exceptional growth ensued and a middle class appeared. Here, we talk about the direct result of that change. We discuss the Apartment Houses that Chinese middle class live in.

Typically, most Chinese live in apartment complexes. There is a percentage, of course, that have their own houses. There are those that share, what we in the West refer to as “Townhouses”. There are those that occupy (rent-free) ancient dilapidated old complexes that can still be seen everywhere. (Why not? They might be old and ugly, but living in them is free!!!!) Not to mention, the others that live on farms, villages, and in the hinder-land.

Let’s talk about the Chinese apartment houses. Chinese Apartments

In China, the apartment complex consists of an area that is surrounded with a fence and is guarded by guards (24-7) with video cameras and gates. Within that complex are the buildings that make up the complex. Now, in China, you might have a

Whenever I go to Asia, I feel like I am going 100 years into the future. By comparison, city living in Western Europe is like living in a crowded filthy hovel. Yet somehow the Europeans think they have it great. Go figure.

It’s got a rather odd conclusion though ... that wars are the result of our thinking that people have not enough in common with us, or too much in common with us, or ... not sure what his point was there.

Shenzhen is like three miles away from Hong Kong.

Hong Kong was a British a colony for 150 years, and its GDP per capita is higher than the USA.

The rest of China has a per capita GDP that is ONE THIRD of the USA.

That one third is expressed in “Purchase Parity Dollars.”

In other words, imagine what the standard of living in the USA would be like if our GDP dropped from $21 trillion to $7 trillion.

A majority of Chinese still live outside the major cities, and you actually need government permission to move into and seek work in a densely populated area.

One final note...

China's industrial output was just 7% higher than the USA in 2017.

But China has FOUR times as many industrial workers as the USA.

Shenzhen is less than an inch from HK. The border touches.

You can visit it either through the Louhu egress point or the Futian point. The lines tend to be long with many HK residents going to and from SZ to HK. The new biometrics have really sped up the process. You get a facial and retina scan and you are good to go. You just need to go through the initial vetting process.

All that information that you present is technically accurate but functionally flawed. It is like comparing a hamburger to a slice of pizza. Which is better? Well, it depends on how you feel about hamburgers and pizza, now doesn't it?

Folks, let me just be blunt. China is just getting started. The United States seriously needs to get it's house in order. China represents a fantastic consumer base for American products, if we dare to accept what is there.

The Chinese simply steal the product IP, start a local competitor, and drive the foreigner out of business with unfair trade terms. That’s why that consumer base can’t be effectively exploited. We tried, with this MFN stuff. Chinese stole everything and continue to.

That really is very beautiful and western. It is cool to eat down there right by the river. You would think you were in a U.S. mall, except the millions of chinese people.

What you don’t see is what China really looks like once you get a couple of miles away. Most Chinese live in apartment compounds. Groups of 50 to 60 story tan buildings, that are all the same 700 to 800 square foot apartments. We estimated there could be 5 to 10 thousand people living in these compounds and there are hundreds of them in most chinese cities.

FYI, a 700sq.ft. apartment a mile from where that pic was taken, can cost $1M dollars. Shanghai is kind of like NYC. Except, in NYC, you won’t see someone on a moped with a new toilet strapped to the back

The Netflix program Here To Heart comes from Shanghai. If tou want to see how the Chinese people live and what their apartments are like, check it out.

These are the Chicaps at home in Shanghai or London, not the Chicoms.

The program is propaganda but the landscape long shots from Shanghai are real

“Triangular shaped key blank. Here, you can make different key patterns for FOUR elements of the key. This particular blank is available on Alibaba. Not available in the USA, if not outright banned. (After all, how can the police, FBI, NSA, CIA, DHS, and IRS be able to come in if you are not cooperative?)”

Full stop. Chinese propaganda article. None of this is true. China is the worst. Also, the article and photos are an ad for an actual building.

It would be nice if globalistas would be more concerned with the USA than with China. If fact all the right wing gloBULLists should move there.

When I go to the American west from the American Northeast I feel the same way.

Only I understand why. The American Northeast is old. I am moving from my 100 year old farmhouse to a new construction in the midwest this month.

I could spend literally all day sweeping my old kitchen. There is dust everywhere. The new house doesn’t need such attention. It’s just older.

So when you go to “some part” of Asia (Which I’ll assume is China) from “Some part of Europe” you probably feel like you’re going 100 years into the future because you’re actually going about 800 years into the future.. the Chinese Communist future.

None of these insects deserve an ounce of respect.
