I had an epiphany (or is "epilepsy" the word I want?)
Schumer & Pelosi are right!
Not just border walls. All over the US, there are federal, state & county facilities with walls & guards that heartlessly separate men from their families.
These walls clearly do NOT work! For when these prisons were built, we were promised they would deter crime.
And have you noticed any lessening of crime? No way! It's gotten WORSE. Clearly, these walls are total failures.
And walls tear apart innocent families. How many young boys & girls are kept apart from their fathers by these walls?
Is not the Unabomber someone's son? Someone's brother? What about Jeffrey Dahmer? Ted Bundy?
Is not the younger of the Boston Marathon Bomb Brothers someone's son, grandson, brother, nephew, 1st cousin ... 4th cousin? (Maybe he's nobody's father, but he sure would be if they let him out and he followed up on the 1000's of marriage & one-night-stand proposals that flooded in after Rolling Stone put a glamorous, airbrushed, Che-ized photo of him on the cover).

We need to have Schumer & Pelosi launch The Great American "Walls Don't Work" Crusade by showing up outside the SuperMax with bullhorns, shouting, "Mister Trump! TEAR DOWN THESE WALLS!!"
What joy there will be throughout the land, when these walls come down and these men are reunited with their families once again. Think of the tears of gratitude shed on that day. You would have to be a heartless bas***d to not want to witness such a sight.

Let’s assume for a moment that you are correct, and from your example, prisons don’t work. So we can either become totally lawless society and to which we are quickly approaching. Then we need another scenario to preserve society and by extension, the county.
I would suggest that we really bring back the death penalty. You commit a felony you are put to death immediately upon conviction. That will be a deterrent and will eliminate criminals within our society. Crossing the border without authorization you will be put to death. eliminate border walls and prisons. want to import drugs and or distribute drugs that destroy live, well, we will destroy yours. Justified punishment and eliminates future threats.
Yes we would need to be careful but then individuals also need to be careful of their behavior.

I do too but it will break us in the first few years that is until we get rid of all those really nasty people.
We could call it post natal abortion. We have seen what they are after they are born so now we can do an abortion but just a little later than expected.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot, they are "immoral" as well, as is proven by the fact that prison walls have incarcerated significant numbers of innocent people who were wrongly convicted back in the days before DNA testing.
So any of our liberal acquaintances who are still talking to us (if any exist), spout the typical talking points against border walls, then point out to them that these arguments they think "prove" border walls shouldn't be built will likewise "prove" that prison walls shouldn't exist either.
They also went and showed Soros' medieval wall around his huge estate. And showed Obama's street, which is so completely blocked off so far away from his house that they couldn't even get close enough to film it.
Basically it's, "Nobody should have walls except for me and my ilk. And nobody should own guns except my bodyguards".
You're right. And why on earth have Pelosi & Schumer hired a guard anyway, when their wall-less bank vault can be protected just as easily by a $50 drone?
