No, they don’t. Casinos are heavily regulated. By law, slot machines have to pay out 90%+. I read one state requires a 98% payout - I can’t remember which state.
It is because no one has read or will bother to read the article. It’s hysterical the hysteria - not much different from democrats.
You didn’t read the article, so I will have to explain it to you. By law, the casino can’t get the money back from the state, but the state (The Gaming Commission) can give the money back to Obie and the casino has assisted the process. Feel better now? Next time read the article.
Wow! Where is this casino, and have they changed the rule? Holding on 15 instead of 17 would change the game a lot. Not sure if it would change the odds much, though. Hitting on a 15 or 16 increases the odds of a dealer bust, but the same odds would apply to the player, I guess.
It may have been 17 but I believe it was 15. Think a moment, a 15 would mean, on average, the next card would be a 6.5 (13 cards)so, on average, you have a 1/2 chance to bust. At 17 a 5 or higher and you bust which is almost 2/3 chance.
Very simple odds. You won’t win every hand but you’ll win the majority.
It took me 3 months to clear up a typo someone at the DMV made.
Obie won... it was her only hope!
Freepers only read first three words of the title
The article?
Maybe one in twenty
She says like every other word. For that reason alone she should be denied.
No I did read it. They still made the screw up.
If i owe you money and give it to frank, and then tell you i cant get it back from him, but you can, i’m off the hook with you apparently.
I understand theres a law they cant get that back from the state, that doesnt absolve them from THEIR FUCH UP.
I lived and worked in Vegas, actually trained to be a slot machine mechanic. And i learned a very important rule...
Don’t gamble at a casino.
Yes you might win but they have it down to a very fine art that they win more.
When winning a $1200 or more jackpot on a slot in Vegas, the casino has to fill out a form to send to the IRS. The form requires your ID and SSN. This happened to me many times.
The SSN is not being used for identification, but to report your income to the IRS.

A friends brother lucked out one time at a new casino, as the dealer would consistently draw another card when the House had 17. He was stunned as the House would usually bust (dont know the term). Won $3,000 that day.
It’s still Marxist Maryland despite Hogan being the governor. As long as you have leftist such as States AG Brian Frosh, Dem. Assembly leaders like Miller and the other guy Busch, and US Senators like Cardin (my old neighbor who didn’t mix with us riff-raff in the old Sequoia Avenue “hood”) and Von Hollen (he’s almost as stupid as Cardin), (most Md House of Representative members are so far left that they fell off the map), then nothing is going to be done to reform the state of corruption there.
“If you had read the article, you would have learned the casino cant get it back from the state. Only Obie can get it back from the state. No one bothers to read the articles.”
Does not matter. The Casino made the mistake they are responsible. They should pay Obie then work with her to get their money back.
