BRUSSELS are likely to buckle to Britains key Brexit demands, due to uproar among EU countries over fears of an economic decline in the case of a no deal departure. The EU27 will give in to Prime Minister Theresa Mays demands to make the Irish border backstop a legally temporary measure. The key British demand is the only obstacle holding up Mrs Mays deal from passing in Parliament. The DUP and dozens of Brexiteers have vowed to vote down the deal this month unless changes are made to the backstop.

First sentence: "BRUSSELS are likely to buckle to Britains key Brexit demands"
Which is it?
Is it happening or is there a chance it might happen?

(is may wobbling towards supporting a hard exit?)
it seems to me that a hard brexit would throw pressure onto ireland to set up a customs and immigration border with northern ireland. that is something ireland does not want to do but ostensibly neither does ireland want to irexit either. in actuality i suppose ireland would want the customs at borders and northern ireland would want the immigration at borders.
what am i missing?
no-deal brexit: can parliament stop it?
