Alice, Alex Lifeson (RUSH) and others play for Alice’s benefit concert and golf fund-raising.
:)
Alice throws knives.

He has an aim that is terrifying.
At a concert, he made sure I got the cane he threw, by hitting me dead-center in the chest from 30 feet.
He took no chances that anyone near would get a chance to take it from me.
There are videos of it on YouTube.
He is singing and looks at me sideways to gauge my position and then throws it while not actually looking at me.
I was blissfully unaware of his intentions, unready to be summarily hit with a stick and you can hear hubby bellow my name because I nearly dropped it out of surprise.
That dude is deadly.
:)
I’m just responding to what he’s reported to gave said:
“I dont look at Bono, Sting and Bruce Springsteen as political. I look at them as being humanitarian.”
I look at them as political. I assume you do too.
“Ill contribute to anything humanitarian.”
What does this mean other than he contributes to their liberal causes?
I loved Alice Cooper Goes to Hell growing up (not one of his more popular albums), and it remains a fav. All that, and a Normal American to boot.
OK. I feel better about still being there, then. I didn’t see that thread. Saw the “take it outside”’ trannie rant, though. Good stuff.
That’s what everyone said about Motley Crue’s farewell tour, that he doubled on, too.
People came for Crue but left raving about Alice.
ACGTH is an epic album.
Just posted a link to a friend last night who said she was the coolest.
Yeah, guess the song.
:)
If you haven’t caught Along Came A Spider, do so.
It. Is. Spectacular.
You can deftly avoid FB jail by replying with songs because most of the trigger-happy libs are too thick as a brick to see what you just did.
/flying under the intellectual radar
Billy GIbbons? From A to Z, still on top.
I dont look at Bono, Sting and Bruce Springsteen as political. I look at them as being humanitarianWell, how they look at themselves may be a different story. And people such as Lenin, Stalin and Mao might have seen themselves as humanitarian by contrast.
He's hung out with President Trump, but he also used to hang with McCain, and (there's at least one old topic about it) regarded Kerry as treasonous. In the interview it appears that he's drawing a line between humanitarian causes (and that could mean lots of different things, obviously) and making endorsements of candidates.
The guitarists’ guitarist. Jimi Hendrix was a big fan when he was still alive and Gibbons was a member of the Moving Sidewalks.
Alice Cooper is a conservative in a loony left profession, who tries to keep a low profile on his politics.
Some years ago, I think we saw Alice Cooper at a local Irish Pub. At least the person looked exactly like Alice Cooper. Including a top hat and makeup. I didn't make it over to say "Hello" as I was doing my best to keep up with the bartenders amazing drinks. Didn't want to fall on the man, I enjoy his work too much. :)
Alice Cooper is a local treasure.
“The musician, 70, on avoiding politics, cheating at golf and having understanding parents.”>>>>>>>>>>>
Opium for the masses.
The dehumanizing of Donald Trump and the people who work and support his administration is one of the most heinous political acts in the history of our nation, and this lug nut, Alice Cooper wants us to do to sleep?
The same branding techniques, the same process of
dehumanization was used by the Dems to solidify their Jim Crow laws in the old South and we are supposed to “let it happen?”
No.
We will fight, even if it means blood in the streets.
We will NOT stand down.
Ahhhhhhh ....... Eighteen and I Like It
Took me a half hour to remember the name of the venue I seen Alice Cooper at, it was Harpo’s night club 10 minutes from downtown Detroit in approx 1980.
I remember that night the featured band was supposed to be Toby Red but lo and behold when the show began out comes Alice and let me tell you he put on one hell of a show.
Another time they slipped another act in it was Meatloaf, back in those days a lot of the top bands played at the local clubs when they were in town for big shows, still irked that I missed the Rolling Stones at such a venue.
Schools out FOREVER!
Now that's a blast from the past.....I used to live about 2 miles from there.
Doing a Google search, I just found out it's still open. Considering the neighborhood these days, I don't think I'll be going there soon.......
LOL....I had 2nd thoughts about going their back in the day.!
