"I resolve to BOYCOTT my one remaining vice, women's tennis on ESPN. To my shame, I probably won't keep it."
"I resolve to keep being a giant d-bag and you KNOW I'm gonna keep it!"
"I resolve to be nicer to Pepe, the foul-smelling rodent you adopted as a pet without consulting me."
"Merci Cheri, and I promise I will leave the toilet seat down!"
"Up! You've supposed to leave it UP!"
"Oh well, I already gave my word that would leave it down! I am now honor-bound to adhere to that!"
"I resolve that I'm going to eliminate that job-stealing (bleep) Janet if it's the last thing I do."
"I resolve to stop scracting this rash I've had since the Obama administarion."
Goodell? What are you doing here, ya bum?
"Oh come on I'm not sure if been in any skits this season!"
"Yaar, I'll cut down on Pink Squirrels. Only one before lunch from now on!"
Alexa, I forgot about Pink Squirrels, what's in one?
"To make 6 servings of Belgian Squirrel you will need six squirells, gutted, 18 pitted prunes, salt and pepper to taste....."
Alexa! Stop! This is why Janets are outselling you!
Let me know if you want on/off the list.
Get your picks in if you haven't done so on last week's thread.

It’s been an up and down season for Patriots fans.

Imagine if Belichick just gave Brady an actual weapon or two. It’s almost as though he wants to put himself behind the eight ball and see if he can still succeed. That said, 4 straight wins and we are Super Bowl champs again.
I think my team will choke once again. Steelers will disappoint its fans once again.
I don’t know what’s going on but I am tired of listening to the football pundits on WEEI and 98.5 with their bad attitudes. Does that mean I have a bad attitude too? :)
WEEI are the quintessential massholes, Always have been.
I can remember when all the bowl games were on free TV.
Not today.
Couldn’t agree with you more.
I was disappointed when they let Garopolo go, but with his subsequent injury, it may have been the best decision.
If anyone is going to choke, it will be me with my choices. That being said, I give the edge to the Steelers at QB and WR, with Conner at RB being another elite player if he is healthy. Bengals have an elite runner with Mixon. As we have seen on any given Sunday, any given team can choke. But I still think the Steelers will take this game.
Atlanta over Tampa Bay
New Orleans over Carolina
Dallas over N.Y. Giants
Green Bay over Detroit
Houston over Jacksonville
Buffalo over Miami
New England over N.Y. Jets
Arizona at Seattle over
Chicago over Minnesota
Pittsburgh over Cincinnati
Baltimore over Cleveland
L.A. Chargers over Denver
Kansas City over Oakland
Philadelphia over Washington
L.A. Rams over San Francisco
Indianapolis over Tennessee
I liked John Dennis, Fred Smerlas, Steve DeOssie and Michael Holly. Fred and Steve have been visiting recently, but Dennis and Holly seem to be gone for good.
I think Belichick especially was ticked off that he had to let Garoppolo as evidenced by the weak trade he made for him and the way he has coached since. Almost like he was pouting. I have no other rational explanation for sitting Malcolm Butler and depriving us of another SuperBowl. I know how nutty it seems but if there was a legit reason it would have come out by now. And then he does next to nothing to help Brady except get him a receiver (Josh Gordon) that is destined to disappoint. He sits Butler in the Superbowl and then brings in this trainwreck? The fact that Brady (always only a pro. It really angers me when the talking heads knock him as though he is part of the problem) has gotten this team this far is further testimony of his greatness as a player and a leader.
All that being said, I love Belichick and appreciate what he has done and the joy his genius has brought us. A championship this year would be especially sweet because I’m sure as heck not expecting it. It would almost be like their first one against the Rams SEVENTEEN years ago.
AND LET’S NOT FORGET, Belichick, Brady, and Kraft. All Trump supporters!
I’m a Sooner born
And a Sooner bred,
And when I die
I’ll be Sooner dead.

I hear you! It’s been a wonderful time with Brady, Kraft and Belichick. The Patriots of the 80s were tough to watch, although Steve Grogan was a mensch. Still, we hung on and the last almost two decades have been worth the wait and then some.
