I was disappointed when they let Garopolo go, but with his subsequent injury, it may have been the best decision.

I think Belichick especially was ticked off that he had to let Garoppolo as evidenced by the weak trade he made for him and the way he has coached since. Almost like he was pouting. I have no other rational explanation for sitting Malcolm Butler and depriving us of another SuperBowl. I know how nutty it seems but if there was a legit reason it would have come out by now. And then he does next to nothing to help Brady except get him a receiver (Josh Gordon) that is destined to disappoint. He sits Butler in the Superbowl and then brings in this trainwreck? The fact that Brady (always only a pro. It really angers me when the talking heads knock him as though he is part of the problem) has gotten this team this far is further testimony of his greatness as a player and a leader.

All that being said, I love Belichick and appreciate what he has done and the joy his genius has brought us. A championship this year would be especially sweet because I’m sure as heck not expecting it. It would almost be like their first one against the Rams SEVENTEEN years ago.

AND LET’S NOT FORGET, Belichick, Brady, and Kraft. All Trump supporters!
