A Florida woman has been arrested for stuffing four Chihuahua puppies and their mother into a backpack and then swinging it wildly around an Irish pub.
Broward Sheriff's Office deputies said Gardner stuffed the mother Chihuahua and the 4-week old puppies into the bag and then sealed it.
Witnesses said she then swung the bag around and smashed it against tables and benches inside the bar.
Deputies who rescued the puppies said they were 'shaken and tormented'.
They are now being treated and cared for by the Broward County Animal Care and Adoption Center.

At an Irish pub. Mexican doggies. I wonder what *her* nationality is and if there is any sort of cultural appropriation she could be charged with.

Poor little dogs. Chihuahuas are already naturally high strung and nervous as it is. Most the ones I see are always trembling. Now this.
She looks like she just came out of a bag...
With that smirk on her face I think it’d be appropriate to seal her in a canvas bag and smash her around on things for a while. Like an hour or so.
And then see if she still has that smartass smirk on her face.
I usually think humans are worth more than dogs....
Broward County is an insane asylum already. Let the sheriff deal with her.

Maybe getting clobbered with a sack of puppies has a deep social meaning. Or maybe she was just a drunk blond in an Irish pub. Glad the pups are okay. Sounds like they might need some counseling.

I have a history or nothing but Rotts and Dobes and American Bulldogs and Pits and hunting dogs in my long life and have defended Pits here from Chet and Norski
But I have a confession
My oldest daughter had an acrimonious breakup with her fiancée and moved in with us and her three little brothers
She brought her little 14 year old black grizzled female chihuahua
She works and is out at night some as well
So the dog stayed in her room a lot mainly to be safe from our two male Rotts and big ABD....Bedford...a T Rex canine
Anyhow I felt sorry for her a couple months ago and started letting her ride with me daily in my rounds in my pickup
And I’ve grown very attached and her to me as well
Nobody believes an old biker looking guy like me with a lap dog
But they grow on you and interact so much...
And they are very vulnerable so tiny with those big in her case cataract ridden black eyes
Anyhow....a fun riding companion and she adores me....dances a jig on hind legs whenever she sees me
Be a great guard dog if 150 pounds but she’d likely eat me too on a whim if grumpy
They are ferocious

Well.....like girls....isn’t that strange how feminine characteristics are somewhat relative in all mammals
