MORE:

The new report from experts at the Rockefeller University along with from the University of Basel published the extraordinary findings in Human Evolution.

The research was led by Senior Research Associate Mark Stoeckle and Research Associate David Thaler of the University of Basel, Switzerland.

They mined ‘big data’ insights from the world’s fast-growing genetic databases and reviewed a large literature in evolutionary theory, including Darwin.

Dr Stoeckle said: ‘At a time when humans place so much emphasis on individual and group differences, maybe we should spend more time on the ways in which we resemble one another and the rest of the animal kingdom.’

The conclusions throw up considerable mystery as to why the need for human life to start again was needed such a relatively short time ago, especially since the last known extinction we know of was during the time of the dinosaurs 65 million years ago.

This opens up the possibility of an inbuilt human evolutionary process wherein we break down and die out, leaving the need to start from scratch.

So basically we’re the result of incestuous ancestors.

...Must always worship the god of evolution...

...Must always treat evolution as an assumed truth...

...Must never veer from my evolution programming...

you know....a while back...and it was admittedly a long time ago, I read an article in The Atlantic which said that linguists were closing in on the theory that there once was a single human language, and then very rapidly, perhaps due to some sort of cataclysm, that language spread from the Middle East to all parts of the earth and became, again, quickly, distinct languages.

I was shocked that they were closing in on the Babel account, and what was even more depressing, was that they didn’t make an offhanded cultural remark to the Biblical “myth” even just as a cultural reference. I found that surprising and sort of assumed that the author was not even aware of the Biblical account.

Now having said all that....I do not know if that is the current thinking among linguists, and I do not know if that particular theory advanced very far. I don’t follow this stuff closely.

But it was interesting.

I was thinking more of Mr. and Mrs. Noah. The mass-extinction event mentioned could imply a flood as much as anything else. Either way, this is genetic evidence of one shared ancestry for all humanity.

RE; I was thinking more of Mr. and Mrs. Noah.

There were 8 people in the Ark, 4 couples.

Well...it creates a problem for evolutionists and creationists.

First, if you read the entire piece....they don’t say 100-percent of animals reviewed in this study went through the same timeline as the humans....only 90-percent. So 10-percent have nothing to do with the human timeline. That creates a enormous hole for both groups to fill. If we were talking about three animals...you might be able to make up some story, but this gets into several thousand.

Second, once these animals in the 90-percent group come through this doorway with Father-1 and Mother-1...how did they reach the far shores of Australia, the Americas, Asia, etc? You would require an army of Arks to deliver each pair to the correct geographical location. Again, you’d have to really be creative to invent a story to explain how American buffalo got delivered in their spot, and how Moas got delivered to New Zealand.

I think what this story has generally accomplished....all of the scientists now have to go back and review Africa (this launch-site for the human race) and find a totally different circumstance that works with the DNA storyline.

...humans...sprang from a single pair of adults after a catastrophic event almost wiped out the human race.

Not being argumentative, but help me understand. It appears they believe they narrowed it down to two human survivors of a much larger preexisting group? And those two survivors also parented the animals that we know of?

What leads them to believe there was a preexisting group, how did they identify the catastrophe and by what means the two were able to avoid it?

Scientists, so close to the truth, yet so far away- they almost admit the truth, then devolve into their anti-God/creation mantra/agenda

Evolution isn't assumed. It's a fact.
