Traces of faeces have been found on every single McDonald’s touchscreen swabbed in an investigation by metro.co.uk.
Samples were taken from the new machines that have been rolled out at restaurants across the country – every one of them had coliforms.
Senior lecturer in microbiology at London Metropolitan University Dr Paul Matawele said: ‘We were all surprised how much gut and faecal bacteria there was on the touchscreen machines. These cause the kind of infections that people pick up in hospitals.'
Unsuspecting diners choose their food on the touchscreens then head to the server to pick up their burgers more often than not without washing their hands.
A screen at one branch was found to have staphylococcus, a bacteria that can cause blood poisoning and toxic shock syndrome.
A McDonald’s spokesman said: ‘Our self-order screens are cleaned frequently throughout the day. All of our restaurants also provide facilities for customers to wash their hands before eating.’

Almost as sanitary as salad bars.
Muslims. They eat and wipe with the same hand.
Which indicates to me that a lot more liberal snowflakes are eating at McDonald’s than are willing to admit it.

I have design that wouldn’t have this problem. Not going to give it away. McDonalds can give me the millions for the idea.

You could have predicted this. You’d be better off with McDonalds APP on your cellphone, with just your own personal bacteria there.

Having a phone app which allows you to order on the way would mean that the only screen you touch is your own.
So that’s in Britain. Here in northern Colorado we have so many damn Somalis, let alone Mexicans, it’s probably true here, too. Thankfully I don’t go to McDonald’s.

Actually, I believe they eat with their right hand, and wipe with their left hand. This is why sentencing one of them to having a hand cut off is such a bad thing. It would not matter which hand they used if they would bother to wash each thoroughly; but third worlders don't do hygiene well, hence the name "shithole" for their countries.
That too is a solution. Some businesses are already going that route...

Walt Disney made several educational films for central and south America informing the locals it is bad science to crap in the fields where you can contaminate foods and the water supply.

Great! Then you would only have to be concerned with the poo on your food rather than the poo on the TOUCH SCREENS...HELLO?
(I assume these are the cash register touch screens used by food handlers.)
And if you go to the bathroom to wash off the poo, you’re going to get more poo on your hands.
That’s weird. There were a couple recent stories (within the last year) of people repeatedly pooping on a specific person’s property. When finally caught, in both cases there was no clear reason why (i.e. it wasn’t someone with a grudge against them or anything). Some weird OCD thing I suppose but why is it rearing it’s head in multiple spots all of a sudden?
