Just turned Fox on now and it is not available because my "carrier is changing"

I have read if you pick up either Sling or Youtube you can get it, Sling evidently at a good price. About 20 bucks a month.
You don’t get it. Why did Fox, and only Fox go off the air in CA on November 6? Has this happened to anyone else in CA?
