I’m surprised LSU didn’t go down further after being shut out by Alabama. They held Alabama to the fewest points of the season but even the worst team Alabama played scored a touchdown against them.

Ohio State played a close home game against an unranked team. How on earth did they move up. What a joke.

Washington State dropped a spot or two, after barely defeating California--I think there were 35 or 40 seconds left in the fourth quarter when they scored a touchdown to break a 13-13 tie. Cal is ranked #65.

Oklahoma beat Texas Tech in a close game. In the 4th quarter Texas Tech scored a touchdown to make it 42-40 and went for two, hoping to make it a tie game. Instead the ball was intercepted in the end zone and the Oklahoma player ran it all the way to the other end zone, so the Sooners got the two points instead. Not something you see very often.

Again, a travesty that only one team from a Blue State (WSU) is in the top ten. This must be investigated to ensure more fairness in the ranking of college athletics.
