FBS Schedule ^ | 11-4-2018 | Brian Wilmer

Posted on 11/04/2018 1:42:15 PM PST by blam

College football rankings for week 11 have been released. Alabama remains the top-ranked team, while West Virginia, Syracuse, and Boston College made significant leaps in the polls.

Washington, which clipped Stanford, 27-23, moved into the AP Poll at No. 20.

Syracuse, who defeated Wake Forest, 41-24, surged nine spots to No. 13, due to a combination of their win and losses from other ranked teams. Boston College vaulted seven spots to No. 17 on the strength of a 31-21 victory at Virginia Tech. The Orange and Eagles both made 11-point leaps in the Coaches Poll.

NC State, Iowa State, Michigan State, and Cincinnati all moved into the AP Poll.

Teams that dropped out of the AP Poll include Utah, Houston, Iowa, Virginia, and Texas A&M.

That was the best defensive performance by the team all year last night. They are peaking at the right time. If Tua can get 100%, no one can beat them.

If Clemson gets to play Bama they have to worry about their O-line stopping number 92 Quinnen Williams in order for that long hair QB to be able to throw. He's a beast and can smell the football like a shark smells blood.

You’re using how he did against the Vols as an example? LOL.

Crazier things have happened though.

That's why we play the games.

Yeah I couldn’t believe that I have never seen Ohio St. get slaughtered like that. Maybe Michigan can beat them, too.

I guess all this is to determine who the Second best team is.

Nebraska is trending in the right direction. Prior years, Ohio State would put up 60+ against Nebraska.

Yeah, I forgot about that one. Maybe there is a new King in the Big 10 or 14 or whatever the hell it is now.

They were describing him as a 300 pound bar of soap last night.

There's this....

This Wisconsin Badger Fan is very sad. :(

But, when your starting QB is out with concussions two weeks in a row...

Oh, Well. We’re Bowl Eligible now for 17 years straight (or close to that!)

Even if we play in The Toilet Bowl, it’s still a bowl game, Right? LOL!

ON, WISCONSIN!

Regardless of who you are a fan of, the Big 12 had the three most entertaining games yesterday:

OU vs Texas Tech
Baylor vs. Oklahoma State
West Virginia vs. Texas

He had a team-high 10 tackles, 3.5 stops for a loss and 2.5 sacks.

Beast!

My daughter-in-law in Mobile was asking my nearly-3-year-old grandson about animal sounds. When she got to asking what the elephant says, he replied,”Roll tide!”

“I don’t see anyone beating Alabama.”

I think Michigan-Alabama would be a very good game.

“Notice now how Clemson is destroying everybody they play.”

Problem with that is:

They haven’t played anyone....good.
