First lady Melania Trump revealed during an ABC interview aired Friday night that the jacket she wore getting on and off a plane to visit the border was a jab at left-wing media and critics. “I often asking myself if I would not wear that jacket if I would have so much media coverage,” Trump told Chief National Affairs Correspondent Tom Llamas in the interview conducted during her recent trip to Africa.
The jacket in question was one she wore only to walk off a plane and again to board the plane that transported her to and from the border for a visit. During the visit with Border Patrol, parents and children detained at the border, and detainment facility workers, she was not wearing the jacket. The jacket read, “I really don’t care, do u?” Media critics lashed out her for the wardrobe choice, attempting to claim it related to not caring about the families.

Love it - she tries to not engage but when they force her, she is capable of taking “nuanced” swipes at them...Smarter than 99.99% of them that call her dumb and classier than the whole bunch...what a First Lady!

He asked what compelled her to wear that jacket at that time.
“After the visit I put it back on because I see how media got upset about, obsessed about it,” she explained. “And I said, like, you know what, that’s what I’m talking about.”
A classy FLOTUS.
I believe much of what Melania wears is a message, most people are too clueless to see.
It’s a hat tip to the countries or people she’s meeting, a message that she’s working with the full power and authority of the President, the message she is a white hat, a message of hope or comfort to the children she’s meeting, and sometimes a FU to the media and/or the leftists.

The advertising for it made it look like a hit job from the get go. The Male Reporter looked like he was interrogating her. No questions off the table they proclaimed.
This is the FLOTUS, not a (GOP) Politician. It disgusts me how they get away with this televised hatred.
The same guy would be licking Moochelle Obama’s Toes if given the chance.
I just tried to watch this “interview” on You Tube. It was nothing more than a hit piece on her husband and herself. Nothing like, say, the old Barbara Walters interviews that were direct one-on-one conversations with celebrities. This piece of trash was interrupted by all sorts of left wing commentators disparaging her. Vile!!!
The only thing that came across is that she is one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen. Surely, that is what has got dowdy, ugly Washington up in arms.
