Runaway, Miracles... Etc. Awesome stuff. RIP.
Just about the only one in the group that was not a huge drug user. Ironic.
Count On Me
Is everything alright I just called to say
How lost I feel without you
Miles away I really can’t believe I’m near
And how I still care about you
Hearts can break and never mend together
Love can fade away
Hearts could cry when love won’t stay forever
Hearts can be that way
Is everything the same do you ever think of me
And how we loved one another
Will you change your mind will you wander back
Again or have you found yourself a new love
Hearts can break and never mend together
Love can fade away
Hearts could cry when love won’t stay forever
Hearts can be that way
Is everything okay I just thought I’d write a song
To tell the world how I miss you
Cause each and every day I think of all the words
I never said and all the chances that I had you
Hearts can break and never mend together
Love can fade away
Hearts could cry when love won’t stay forever
Hearts can be that way
Hearts can be that way
Hearts can be is everything alright
No info on how he died. But this info was at Wikipedia which indicates that he had had heart related problems.
“While on tour in March 2016, Balin was taken to Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital in New York City after complaining of chest pains. After undergoing open-heart surgery, he was transferred to an intensive-care unit to spend time recovering. In a subsequent lawsuit, Balin alleged that neglect and inadequate care facilities on the hospital’s behalf had resulted in a paralyzed vocal cord, loss of his left thumb and half of his tongue, bedsores, and kidney damage”
Already posted.
As I said on the other thread, the physical bodies if those that helped destroy our country are dying off but their spirit still goes on more than ever.
Volunteers of America RIP
He got punched out at Altamont
Bodacious DF
Did he sing Comin’ Back to Me? I love that one.
Just got through listening to “Hearts”......RIP
I loved Jefferson Starship. Great music from the 70’s and 80’s - although some purists said they musically sold out in the 80’s.
RIP, love Starship. Don’t think they contributed unduly to the destruction of America (this is really directed at a later commenter). If they even tried, they are punks compared to Madame Queen DIFI.
Awwww. He was just as important as Slick to the band
IMHO Jefferson Airplane was a bit too offbeat, whereas Starship was a bit too poppy. Jefferson Starship was just right.
But I liked all 3.
RIP Marty...
Sad news, the combination of male and female leads was unique and very successful. RIP miracle man.
