Man Decapitated In Suicide Inside Santa Monica Parking Structure

A man was decapitated by the rope he used to hang himself in a Santa Monica parking garage Wednesday. The suicide was reported at about 12:40 p.m. The man was found on the seventh floor of parking structure four located on the 1300 block of Second Street, according to Santa Monica police. The garage is located a block away from the Third Street Promenade.

Obviously the stiff didn’t calculate the proper drop for his weight.... so it wouldn’t rip his head off. These are skills of a pro hangman like the english dude who hanged all the minor nazis. Quite meticulous to prevent such a horror.

There is another possible outcome of a miscalculated hanging.
Had one a few years back that tied off to an overpass and jumped in early morning (dark) hours. Was enough to break his neck, but it was dark and body hung there for several hours as rush hour traffic started up underneath. First calls coming in around dawn reported a dummy hanging off the overpass because body weight had stretched out neck to about 18-24 inches. Many people couldn’t believe a neck would stretch that far.
