Port of Galveston flooded today, and the bus delivering the cruise ship passengers from the parking area abandoned the passengers several blocks from the cruise terminal. A KHOU reporter down doing a report on the flooding saw a 71 year old woman struggling to get to the ship, took her bag and escorted her through the flooded streets to make her cruise. Well worth watching the video.

It was a frog drowner today in Galveston. The water was 6 inches deep on my driveway. Apparently 11 inches of rain.

When I dug a trench do drain my back yard during the last hurricane, I disturbed the soil and found my lost wedding ring!
I’m looking to continue this winning trend.
