Never been a fan, of either Ford or the Mustang. It was a pretender muscle car.
But it has a distinctive style that is recognizable from a mile away. Very few automobiles have that, VW Bugs, Corvettes, Jags and a few others..............
There’s a Mustang in that pic?...............
[Never been a fan, of either Ford or the Mustang. It was a pretender muscle car.]
I rented a brand new Dodge Charger HEMI on vacation in Florida this past spring. Absolutely BLOWS AWAY the Mustang.
Some clown in a Camaro tried to race me on the highway. I left him in the dust.
I knew someone who had that exact model............car.............
Gotta love the fake hood scoop.
a lot of these companies are doing away with various models and just making certain models now- volvo is also supposedly going to do away with most and go towards electric i guess-
One company is doing away with many of their cars and concentrating on just trucks (Trucks now cost north of $40,000- many up around $70,000- the profit margins seem quite large on trucks- which really are the same basic trucks they always were- just with more non essential crap on them to try to justify the massive prices)
Back in the real world people still need sub $20,000 vehicles- but it looks like the trend might be for companies to faze them out in favor of higher priced vehicles- Back in the 80’s you could get a V8 vehicle for about $4000- Then prices began skyrocketting- Cars today are worth more than my folks paid for their house back in the 70’s for cryign out loud- Don’t know if it’;s all relative- maybe it is, but just seems like prices on vehicles really took off after the 80’s

DUDE, it was never designed not marketed as a muscle car!
Somewhere I guess.
You can pay north of $100,000 for a pickup these days.
From the factory.
“I rented a brand new Dodge Charger HEMI on vacation in Florida this past spring. Absolutely BLOWS AWAY the Mustang.”
Stupid statement. Mustang GT has 90 more to in a lighter car.
unreal- that’s almost the price of some houses in rural areas- Not too long ago it used to be that a decent tough 8 cylinder truck could be had for around $25,000 or so- Those days are long gone i guess-

Which has more to ... Mustang GT or corvette stingray?

You can get a F-150 for 23k. Six cylinder but more up than v8’s of old.
Oh Yea?
Tell that to the guys who raced Corvettes in 1965-66 when Shelby Mustangs were Kicking their Asses on road tracks all over the country!
6 cylinders have come a long way.
I have one just like that, except it’s a bronze color. Fastest car I’ve ever driven. It’s fun to have a car you can actually work on!
