How? The vapor pressure of water should be such that it boils off at rather low temps in Martian atmosphere.
Though, I bet it isn’t “pure” water, so with the right salts this makes sense.

Did they find water or not? The headline brings you in and then they don’t know. Sounds like they need more grant money from us taxpayers.

We’re getting close to my dream. If we oxygenate the soil in the subtropical regions we can grow barley there, and hops in the equatorial regions. Then if the Martians turn out to be unicellular organisms who can metabolize complex carbohydrates, the jackpot! Mars: Planet Of Beer.
A couple of years ago I got hooked on all those “weird stuff on mars” youtube videos. Some of it is silly. Some of it is not. Some was so fantastic I figured it was a hoax and went to the official Nasa photos to see what was really there, only to find out they were not hoaxes.
Something is going on regarding mars. I would not be surprised to find out there really was a civilization there at one time. I’m not saying I believe it now, but I would not be shocked, based on what I HAVE seen in those photos.
