A couple of years ago I got hooked on all those “weird stuff on mars” youtube videos. Some of it is silly. Some of it is not. Some was so fantastic I figured it was a hoax and went to the official Nasa photos to see what was really there, only to find out they were not hoaxes.
Something is going on regarding mars. I would not be surprised to find out there really was a civilization there at one time. I’m not saying I believe it now, but I would not be shocked, based on what I HAVE seen in those photos.

NASA’s pattern is to announce some major new discovery on Mars and it always turns out to be something “water discovered, possible to support life”. This is purely to generate headlines at budgeting time. Same old thing over and over again to which no one pays attention.
What NASA should do is send a probe and rover to the Cydonia region and take a close look at the “Face” and the region around it. Then many of us will take an interest.

Mars MAY have been stripped of most of its atmosphere and water during a near miss with another celestial body passing by. "Worlds in Collision" (1950, Immanuel Velikovsky) theorizes how this MAY have happened and is an interesting read.
