Trump could literally restore the dead to life and health and the Left would accuse him of ruining their death experience.

Conservative presidents have always done better talking with our opponents than libs. The opponents respect the clarity presented and can make win-win deals.

The left doesn’t really want peace.

History may not repeat, but it sure does rhyme.

Which is why in Russia today, Reagan is still the most admired of former US Presidents.

The summit was like 48 hours ago and we have Drudge running with Trump’s approval is down. Trump who has been tough on Russia. It’s pretty sad thinking our people, media and leaders are this shallow and devoid of intelligent analysis.

Reagan started out tough on Russia. For decades, even before he became president, he criticized Russia’s totalitarian system and its leaders at every opportunity. He countered Russia’s invasion of Afghanistan by providing significant aid to the Afghan rebels, inflicting at least 13,000 deaths on Russian troops. He moved against Russia’s toppling of Nicaragua’s government, via its Sandinista proxies, by setting up a secret funding channel for the contras, risking his presidency in the process.

Whereas Trump has slobbered over the Russians at every opportunity, even before he was elected. His golden retriever routine, all smiles and tail-wagging, in Putin’s presence is in stark contrast to his general demeanor elsewhere. You’d think Putin had made him the casino czar of all the Russias.

I don’t mind his Russia stance, because the alternative was Hillary, who would have pretended a tough stance while sucking up even more. But Trump isn’t covering himself in glory over Russia. Still, liberals are just virtue-signaling. They’re not really concerned about Russia from a national security standpoint. They’re unhappy because Trump won and are looking for someone to blame it on. Their Russia policy consists of inane one-liners like “the 80’s called; they want their foreign policy back”. So Trump who, unlike Obama, is at least supplying Javelin anti-tank weapons to Ukraine, is actually being more hawkish in deed than the Democrats.
