I disagree. The Aztecs were merely a primitive culture with a bloodthirsty religion that was in line with their level of civilization.
The Nazis, OTOH, were the product of a highly civilized culture who willfully rejected the Word of God and tried to reinstitute an ancient pagan-worshipping culture that was far more bloodthirsty (and efficient) in exterminating its victims - some of whom were members of my own family...
