Why do pit bulls attack? The answer is complicated.

You’ve seen it more than most, but anyone with half a clue should get it. I really saw the light on animals hardwired for a purpose with a chocolate lab about 25 years ago. Months old, first time at a lake, it was swimming and fetching sticks with really no training.

Why people think violent pit bulls are simply a function of bad upbringing is beyond me.

A responsible dog owner, of any breed, must CONTAIN and be in CONTROL of his dog.

While what you say is no doubt true, it is also true that successfully accomplishing that becomes much more difficult when the dog in question has a bloodline bred for violence.

If pit-bulls were bred to be pets and trained then it would be different. I blame people and owners for the attacks more then the breed.

All the breeders I know are very responsible. They breed for Temperament and Confirmation.
They only sell to vetted and qualified people. Folks who love dogs and are knowledgeable
in training, containing, maintaining. and socializing their dogs.

I think almost all dogs are a pain in the arse. Fleas, tics, barking,poop all over the place, etc.

There should be towns where no dogs are allowed. I don’t want to have to be forced to live with “dog lovers”. They lick their asses and then your face. Disgusting, I say.

Why do dogs attack when they were purpose bred to be fearless, ferocious fighters. Hmmm... I can’t imagine why. Anyone? Bueller? Can anybody guess why maybe a breed of dog who was purpose bred to be the perfect fighting dog my suddenly attack someone? Hmmm... Such a brain teaser.

Luckily we live fairly rurally so there’s no issues with barking.
