Police say a 37-year-old man was far from lovin' it when workers at a McDonald's restaurant in Oregon refused to make him 30 double cheeseburgers. His response? He tried to destroy the golden arches.

The News-Review reports that police arrested Jedediah Ezekiel Fulton on March 16 on suspicion of second-degree disorderly conduct, second-degree criminal trespass, second-degree criminal mischief and harassment.

Sorry sir, there’s a limit of 29 double-cheeseburgers per customer.

If he’d ordered 15 and then drove around to place another order of 15, they’d have had no problem.

Sort of like the sheriff near here when the store clerk said the 12 pack of beer was cheaper, he said he couldn’t drink all 12 so bought 2 six packs.

His mistake: Should have tried to order 60 single cheese burgers instead.

They take your payment upfront then make your order. Surely they wouldn’t turn down such a large, profitable order although the customer would have to wait longer. He must be a stone cold lunatic.

I don't understand the reasoning for denying his order, but his response is certainly unwarranted. I would have told him that he pays in advance and that his payment is not refundable.

I think he was probably drunk or on some other substance and that is why they refused his order.

True story: I ordered a “double hamburger” when the double cheeseburger back was first priced at 99 cents and got charged something like $1.89. I asked why, and they said only the double cheeseburger was on special. So I asked to change it to “a double cheeseburger, hold the cheese.” There was a pause, a laugh and I got my order. I felt like Jack Nicholson ordering toast.
