The superdelegates are a voice of the DNC establishment, a parallel to the GOPe. If they eliminate the supers, it will mean the capture of the Democrat party by extreme left wingers, socialists or worse. It will be the functional end of the democrat party on the national level. That’s why they won’t do it.
