Her acting in Winter’s Bone was phenomenal and caused me to follow her career.
But, hey, she’s going to “f-ing” “fix our democracy”. She’s the one we’ve all been waiting for.

The biggest problem is that she is getting old. Hollywood is always looking for the next BIG thing. She has two recent movies that bombed and her skills do not seem to be growing on stage.
She has been around for a long time, entertainment-wise, and a year off could be either be just the thing to reinvent herself, or stop any comeback dead in the water.
And why would anyone not believe that? I could totally see Weinstein doing that. I don’t think that makes her a bad person... just a weak person who was desperate to succeed at the only thing she was good at.

She wants to make sure District 1 (where she lives) have their voices heard (and votes count) while District 13 (deplorables) “does their job”.
Representatives from District 1 need to visit the other districts to tell them how important their job is and how much District 1 cares about them (and to recruit tributes).
She may not have finished middle school but she learned all she needs to know from movie scripts: Democracy works best with 13 districts all doing their part (as long as she is in District 1)
Not sure what you saw her in, but she has basically 3 facial expressions, period. I think in the 6 or 7 movies I have seen her in, that’s her entire range.... 3, 3 facial expressions.

There are probably many others who donated their bodies
to Weinstein to further their careers.
And there were many who were assaulted by Weinstein.
The ones who were assaulted by Weinstein have spoken out.
The ones who have not spoken out are probably
the ones who voluntarily gave it up to further their careers.

I don't think many posters here understand the phenomenal level of success she has had. Already more than a dozen other Hollywood stars combined.
Wait until she suffers the "problems" of a dozen Hollywood types, that won't be "success" just because she has a big checking account.

Also, I would respectfully submit that I don't give a damn what she says about anything as far as politics is concerned. I might change my mind if she suddenly starts bringing up John Locke in casual conversations, but that is something I do not see as being likely.
