I did read that a bunch of holistic doctors had unfortunately met with an early demise for various reasons - it was less than a hundred, but more than 50. Not sure of the reliability though and I did not explore the details.
The usual reaction would be to simply call them a quack, if the Medical profession doesn’t agree with it-not to take them out. So I’ll have to hear more about this one.
I watched a presentation one time that stuck with me. It was called death by peanut brittle. The doctor had a patient - he put him on a no sugar, healthy diet and certain supplements and the cancer disappeared. I don’t recall what had happened to his wife.
Anyway, he had promised to be there for his daughter to get through school. After the graduation, he started eating large amounts of peanut brittle, and the cancer came back, and he died.
I don’t know if that was true, but I have read that sugar feeds cancer. The medical schools teach what they teach, and that’s what docs do. The EU uses a lot more herbs etc. than we do.
I do believe that a lot of disease has to do with lack of nutrients, and toxins in our environment. The body has an amazing ability to heal itself, with proper nutrition.
The USDA food pyramid is almost guaranteed to contribute to the chronic diseases that have grown over the years.
The USA does bear the brunt of the cost for drugs. After the drug is approved here and priced, then they can sell it cheaper in other countries, to add to the income stream.
USA covers the fixed sunk costs plus the variable costs of production for our population. As long as other countries pay for the variable plus the profit margin, the company can sell cheaper there, and still make money.
