How did they collect and compile these statistics? I find it difficult to believe that they know how many underage girls are being exploited for cash-on-the-barrel-head sex. Why is there no mention of boys being exploited by homosexuals?
Perhaps they are extrapolating numbers based on a formula such as arrest records times ten but that would just be a formulistic wild guess.
If you read that article with a serious eye you see that it’s a bunch of generalizations and numbers that are thrown on paper. I truly believe that evil such as this exists, and I have no doubt that it’s in the U.S. as well. But this article was with little documented foundation.
I hope the Law Enforcement authorities have far more than this article did.
Write the Rutherford Institute and ask them where they go their statistics. Since they were talking about the actual number of kids to be 100 thousand, that’s not many compared to 325 million population - probably have that many in San Francisco, Hollywood etc. alone.
I didn’t write the article. Your question is more appropriately addressed to the authors. Below is a link to many statistics-perhaps you could pick one that suits your opinion better.
I am skeptical.
I have been alive and very social for more than half a century.
I dont know ONE personal acquaintance who has:
- disappeared presumably trafficked
-had any relative or friend theyve ever mentioned that this has happened to or
-lost one child. Not a one.
How many missing children under, say, 15, are there currently in this country? I figure fifteen and up mostly runaway. Not to say these are not vulnerable.
One kid is too many. But the way this article is written its like a kid from every block has gone missing.
Perhaps they are extrapolating numbers based on a formula such as arrest records times ten but that would just be a formulistic wild guess.
A lot of statistics are simply made up.
