Who said there must be an award for every victim group? Suppose we have awards for Hispanics, then m*slims will demand their own award. Eventually, there’ll be an award for deaf left-handed transexual lesbian m*slim latinas who are allergic to peanuts.

In other news, the Academy slammed Latin actors for failing to produce a single Oscar-worthy performance.
And the Kekistanis are left out as well.
If she considers herself to be Latin she should go live in Latin America or Spain. We are Americans first, not hyphenated. Why do Spanish people get affirmative action when Italians, Greek, Polish and other nationalities don’t? It makes no sense at all.
I could care less about the awards, but if some Mexican wants awards, let them go to Mexico City. Good riddance.
So true...lol. Not to worry, last week it was a complaint that women directors weren’t nominated for the Golden Globes. Well that is over since 1 was nominated for an Oscar. Once they figure out about Guillermo, they will go on to their next identity snub. Liberal have a very hard time giving awards for performance alone.
I, personally, cannot wait for the day when the gender imposters, also known as trannies, start beating out the real women and real men for Best whatever. It is then that you will see some real acting talent as they "act" congratulatory and oh so enlightened while hiding their rage at being beaten by a fraud.
I mean, I freaking can't wait for that day. :)
I’m offended that so many of the nominations went to professional Hollywood actors. The entrenched hierarchical power structure really is discriminating against non-professional non-actors who don’t have Hollywood acting privilege. #OscarsSoActors
Oh for goodness sake. First we have to get more people of color in the Academy. Then we had to stop raping actresses. And now we have make sure the Hispanics are taken care of.

Heh, I saw what you did there. You’ve read that comic strip “La Cucaracha” right (not that it was a particularly good comic strip overall, since I literally didn’t get most of the jokes and just seemed to whine about latinos most of the time, and I didn’t even get the big fuss about it. Only read it because it was in the Sunday Funnies at the time, well, that and the comics section of the AJC. Not much loss when it got removed.).
But yeah, this whole thing about making representation’s just stupid. We really shouldn’t pander to identity groups, but to actual talent. Hollywood’s already in deep stuff right now as it is.
She’s the first Latino to really make a stink I think.....
