If true, communication across long distances would be close to instaneous.
Just guessing...

It seems Quantum Physics is based more on research grants than on anything else.
Ah, no.

But, as part of String Theory, the reason we don’t see more than the 4 dimensions we see now. The writer of the original article should have written 5 dimension, as we have 4 visible.
Anyway, we don’t see more than the 4 we do see is that the strings wrap themselves around the other dimensions, so, that they are kept too small for us to view.
Yeh, go get Brian Greene’s The Elegant Universe. He can explain it MUCH better than I can.

My son-in-law has a PhD in Physics and he specializes in Quantum Optics. He co-wrote a paper that was printed in Nature magazine, which for any scientist is a huge deal. He sent my better half and I a copy of it. We read through it a little bit and we looked at each other and asked “Do you understand this?” “Nope.”

I rather choose to say there are variable expressions of the dimensions, with past, present, future being three expressions of dimension Time and linear, planar, and volume being three expressions of dimension Space. Of course there are actually AT LEAST four expressions, since moment and point are real expressions also.

I’ve read it. Some versions of string theory allow for large numbers of dimensions. This article is not about that.

Eggs ackley. The growth of certain crystals indicate that they have expression in some greater where/when than what the observer here detects.

You are, of course, correct, but, someone up stream brought it up.
