Can’t believe the Moodies are not in the Hall of Fame. I wasn’t a fan of Thomas’ work, particularly, although “Dear Diary” was a great song. Still, I am sorry to see him go.
Moody Blues songs were like original series Star Trek episodes. The good ones were very, very good. The bad ones were awful.

I heard somewhere that he wrote some letters that he never meant to send.

Another classic album recorded under great tension was Supertramp’s “Breakfast in America”.
Roger Hodgson and Rick Davies were at each other’s throats and their wives even hated each other. Rick’s track “Casual Conversations” was about their destroyed relationship.
Sadly, it won’t be long until we see Rick’s name in the obituaries, due to his battle with multiple myeloma.
The Moody Blues produced 7 incredible albums.
Each one affected me deeply.
What other band did an album honoring the Moon Landing?
What other band could possibly have released a song about quantum physics called “Thinking is the best way to travel”?
MB was in a class by itself.
