A few days ago president Trump issued an executive order to block the property of about 40 individuals and organizations involved in human trafficking. He accompanied this executive order with a national state of emergency.
Several people from his list seem like pretty important individuals, like the former president of Gambia, the daughter of Uzbekistan, as well as a few well-respected billionaires.
The post on Free Republic that mentioned this generated almost 450 comments. To me, that is proof this is a newsworthy enough story, yet the only news outlet that mention a peep about this is Politico.
Why the blackout? Your thoughts?
The media knows they are in a catch 22. If they praise it they are damned and if they criticize it they are damned. Trump has something cooking and the media know it.

Because most of the individuals on the list have contributed heavily to either the DNC or to the Clinton Foundation.
Comey and the magic negro also gave them a “pass.”

I saw spaculation that Clinton Foundation assets might get seized if you look at the fine print on the EO.

The owners of the MSM are next on the list. Watch for it.
It is a newsworthy story, that isn’t being covered by either CNN or Fox. My feeling is because the human trafficking issue, which Trump is sounding the alarm on, would converge with the sexual harassment issue, and the prostitution scandals which are just starting to roll out in Seattle. I don’t think the media is going to be happy about any of this because if this goes as it should, heads will roll and the swamp WILL be cleaned out.
The media tends to down play anything positive by President Trump or just not report it.
It would require intelligent independent thought and a modicum of sobriety for several hours in a row thus excluding media types

There is no more human trafficking... Everybody knows that the Democrats ended slavery during the civil war. Well... Actually it was the Republicans because the Democrats wanted to appease the south, but there is no more slavery... Doh!
Human trafficking (formerly known as ‘slavery’) didn’t end with the civil war and it continues to this day. Trump knows this better than anybody since he lives in the world of the wealthy and has likely dealt and seen many people who likely own slaves.
Trump has big balls, and he’s using them. This sort of common sense executive order is one that a many presidents before him could have invoked, but didn’t.
The press falsely reported that Trumps executive order on moving the US embassy to Jerusalem would be the end of the world, and former Presidents could have invoked that order as well but didn’t on the advise of wrongheaded diplomats, the same sort of diplomats who advised Chamberlain to sign a peace treaty with Hitler.
The power of the executive order is just that POWER. And while many former presidents have failed to use it to support their own convictions based on terrible advice and obviously fear of failure, Trump has the kahunas to use his power.
The EO is the earthquake. It will generate a tsunami that will slam into the liberal deep state and other democrats.
Anyone remember the “thousands” of human and sex trafficers that were arrested earlier this year? What’s the update(if you know)?
I think they were all low level pimps and Johns....HOWEVER, currently 4300 sealed indictments were made for Washington DC in November.
Typically, there are about 1000 sealed indictments annually nationwide. Somethings going to happen!
